Theatre Tour for TY Students

TY Performing Arts students enjoyed a trip to the GB Shaw Theatre with a difference this week. Not only did they get to visit the impressive venue, but they were treated to a guided technical tour of the theatre and backstage areas. Production Manager Anthony Walsh went through all the elements involved in putting on a stage performance including lighting, sound and sets. Students really enjoyed getting to experience what happens behind the scenes in a busy professional venue and we are very appreciative that have such an amenity on our own doorstep here in Carlow.
