Supervised Study restarting from Monday 15th January
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Tyndall College provides after school Supervised Study for students from 1st Year to 6th Year. Supervised Study will commence on Monday 15th January 2024. It will be held Monday- Thursday each week from:
- 3:50 pm to 5:00 pm for Junior cycle students
- 3:50 pm to 5:30 pm for Senior cycle students
This is an opportunity for students to avail of a quiet, supervised environment to complete homework or prepare for an exam with the assistance of a teacher supervising and supporting students where needed. We endeavour to make this facility as effective as possible, giving all students the opportunity to benefit from a calm working environment.
If your child decides to attend Supervised Study, they will be expected to always comply with the Tyndall College Code of Behaviour. They must be prepared to work quietly on their own and to co-operate fully with the supervisor in charge. Appropriate action will be taken in the event of non-compliance of rules and behaviour (your child may be withdrawn from Supervised Study on a temporary or permanent basis depending).
The yearly fee to attend Supervised Study is €200. The fee may be paid in two instalments of €100 for September- December and January until May. This can be paid by our ‘Way2pay’ link which is available on our school website or once the below form is filled in and handed back, you will receive a text message with the link. No student will be allowed begin until payment is made.
