Tyndall College Open Night 2019
“Everyone is Welcome Here”, the motto that is embedded in Tyndall’s ethos and culture, was definitely the theme of our Open Night on the 3rd October. Hundreds of people attended the very first open night in our brand new state-of-the-art building.
It was a tremendous success with the Principal’s opening speech and the Tyndall College Choir yet again wowing the crowd with a beautiful performance. This is not the first time the school choir has entertained a large crowd as they recently performed at the opening ceremony of the National Ploughing Championships for President Michael D. Higgins.
Mr. McGill spoke about the excellent teaching and learning that every student in Tyndall will experience should they choose to undertake their educational journey in the school. He spoke of all the facilities that the school has to offer, both curricular and extra curricular, but was keen to highlight that what makes Tyndall College particularly special are the people that are within it – students, staff, SNAs and support staff, administrators, parents, guardians and the wider community.
