Senior Soccer Semi-Final

Tyndall College just came up short in their Senior Soccer semi-final against Choláiste Pobal Osraí (CPO) in Scanlon Park on Wednesday 23/1/19.   The young team from Tyndall played with great spirit from the first whistle and created great chances in the first half, forcing the opposition goalkeeper into numerous fine saves in the first half.  Edson Chaves and Danny Murphy lead the line very well and worked selflessly for the team throughout.

During the second half, CPO imposed their physical superiority and their fitness soon paid dividends. They scored two goals in quick succession on 41 minutes and 43 minutes. This killed the spirit of the Tyndall College youngsters. Brave efforts were made from Jack Coe, Boni Milinyango, Jacob O Brien and Lais Zilericius while Eoin Kirby and Jan Dosen never stopped trying.

Well done to all and the future is certainly bright for this squad of young players.
