Resilience & Wellbeing Workshop

On April 30th Second Year and LCA students enjoyed a fantastic Resilience & Wellbeing Workshop by actor and Young Offenders star Shane Casey and Fair City’s Aoibheann McCaul.  Shane, who plays “Billy Murphy” in the show,  delivered a theatre workshop exploring themes of resilience, making the right choices and caring for your own well-being. The workshop used elements of performance, role play and theatre games to encourage active participation from a class group. This workshop was a way of opening up important conversations on making the right choices and exploring ways of communicating clearly as Shane himself discussed the difficult times he has experienced. All students had a great time and enjoyed themselves. Having “Billy Murphy” in school created a buzz for all students from First to Sixth Year! Many thanks to Ms. Flynn for organising the workshops.
