First Year Library Visits

All First Year classes are currently visiting Carlow Town and County Library on Tullow Street to find out more about the services on offer and receive a tour of the facilities.  All students are also being given the opportunity to become members. The visits were organised by their Year Head Ms. Howard-Bowles and the First Year Tutors as part of Tyndall College’s literacy programme. Students have been particularly impressed by the range of online services and are also keen to use the local archives for their next research projects.  This is a wonderful opportunity for all students.

Don’t forget to keep a book in your bag so you can fit some reading time in each day!
