Busy line-up for Business Week 2018
A packed schedule of events has been organised for Tyndall College’s Business Week 2018. Staff and students have been encouraged to get involved and assist in creating awareness and promoting Business in our school and in particular to focus on Business in the daily lives of our students throughout the week.
Teachers will be generating some fun and additional learning while at the same time broadening students’ understanding of Business by demonstrating its links to each subject area.
The 1 Oak class took part in a Business classroom competition recently, where each student was asked to design a logo and motto associated with their ‘Oak’ class. The students were given a week to design a poster. Ben Kennedy was the successful winner with his logo design and Agna Kramarczyk came in second place. The class as a whole came up with the motto, all of which is on display in the school during Business week.
First Year students, along with Fifth Year business students as group leaders, will also be attending a business workshop at Caffreys chocolate warehouse during the week.
